1. HBot and these Terms
HBot is an adult Discord card-collecting game operated under the name HBot by its development team in Germany ("HBot", "we", "us"). Contact: hbotdevs@gmail.com.
These Terms apply to HBot and its game features. By registering or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and must also follow Discord’s Terms of Service, Community Guidelines and applicable server rules. If you do not agree, do not register or use the Service. Our Privacy Policy explains personal-data processing.
2. Adults only and registration
You must be at least 18 years old and meet any higher legal age requirement where you live. HBot may display sexually explicit fictional artwork. Do not use it where access to that content is unlawful.
Before playing, use hregister to read and accept the adult-content agreement. Registration records your Discord ID, the agreement version, time, server and channel. It is a self-declaration, not identity or age verification, and does not replace Discord’s safeguards or any legally required age-assurance measures.
Help, registration and legal links can be used in ordinary server channels. Gameplay and artwork views require age-restricted (18+) server channels. Do not bypass these controls or expose HBot artwork to minors. We may restrict access where age eligibility or lawful use cannot be established.
3. Closed beta and game changes
HBot is under active development and currently offered as a closed beta. Bugs, downtime, maintenance and changes to features, rarity rates, cooldowns, progression, rewards or the economy may occur. Beta testing may involve announced game-data resets. Keep this experimental status in mind when collecting or trading.
We aim to communicate significant changes through the bot or official community channels. Nothing here removes mandatory consumer rights or other protections provided by law.
4. Fair and lawful use
You must not:
- Use self-bots, unauthorised scripts, bots or automation to play, farm rewards or evade limits.
- Exploit or conceal bugs, duplicate assets, manipulate trades, defraud players, spam commands or disrupt the Service.
- Bypass registration, age restrictions, permissions, privacy settings, cooldowns or other safeguards.
- Harass, threaten, impersonate or disclose private information about other people.
- Submit unlawful material, sexual content involving minors or apparent minors, non-consensual intimate material, or material that infringes someone else’s rights.
- Access accounts, data or systems without permission, or use HBot for unlawful activity.
Report suspected bugs, abuse, underage use or prohibited content to hbotdevs@gmail.com. Do not include unnecessary personal information or illegal content in a report.
5. Cards, currency, items and trading
Cards, SIN, crystals, tokens, passes and other game assets are virtual features. They are not money, investments, ownership of the depicted character or artwork, or a claim against HBot for cash. HBot does not redeem them for real-world money.
Use the built-in trade system for supported exchanges. Review both offers before accepting. Offer changes require renewed acceptance; a completed trade can change ownership, balances and items. Some assets may be locked, unavailable or restricted. We may correct errors, reverse exploit-related transactions, remove unlawful artwork or rebalance the game where appropriate, subject to applicable law.
Selling or buying game assets, accounts or access for real money or off-platform services is not permitted. Staff will not ask for your Discord password, account token or two-factor codes.
6. Artwork, submissions and intellectual property
Characters, series, artwork and third-party brands remain the property of their respective rights holders. Source attribution or an “Official Art” or “Fan Art” label is not a copyright licence, and we do not claim that every use is automatically permitted by fair use or another exception.
Only submit material you have the necessary rights or lawful permission to provide. You retain any rights you hold in your own submissions. To the extent you hold the relevant rights, you authorise HBot to store, resize, crop, render, display and distribute the submission within the Service, and to keep necessary operational backups, for operating and maintaining HBot. You cannot grant rights belonging to someone else.
We may reject, replace, disable or remove submissions and affected game copies. For copyright or other rights concerns, email hbotdevs@gmail.com with the work concerned, the relevant HBot card or message details, and an explanation of your rights or complaint. We will review reports and take appropriate action. Nothing in these Terms grants ownership of third-party artwork to HBot or its users.
7. Public game activity and privacy
Profiles, collections, inventories and supported owned-card views are public by default to other eligible players. Use hp → Preferences to change supported profile visibility. Drops, claims, trades and other messages you post or trigger in Discord can be visible to people with channel access.
Changing visibility does not erase messages already posted, screenshots or copies held by others. HBot also keeps operational game records and sends account, trade and server audit messages to configured staff channels. See the Privacy Policy for details and how to request access, correction or deletion.
8. Real-money purchases
HBot does not currently offer real-money purchases or paid subscriptions under these Terms. The in-game shop uses virtual currency. If paid features are introduced, their price, duration, payment provider, cancellation terms and applicable withdrawal or refund rights will be presented before purchase, with these policies updated as needed.
No statement here excludes refunds or other rights required by applicable law.
9. Restrictions, suspension and ending use
You can stop using HBot at any time and request deletion of your personal data by emailing hbotdevs@gmail.com. We may suspend or end access, restrict assets or remove content for violations, security risks, legal requirements, serious abuse or to protect the game and its users. Where appropriate, we will explain the decision; you may contact us to request a review.
Suspension is not a reason to withhold legally required data-protection rights. Ending access does not cancel obligations or rights that must continue by their nature or by law.
10. Availability and responsibility
We provide the Service on an “as available” basis and cannot promise uninterrupted availability, freedom from errors or permanent preservation of game records. Discord, hosting providers and network services can also affect operation. We take reasonable care in operating the Service and handling reported problems.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect losses from use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for intent, gross negligence, fraud, or injury to life, body or health. Mandatory rights and liability for breach of essential contractual obligations remain governed by applicable law.
11. Applicable law and updates
German law applies to these Terms, subject to any mandatory protections that apply in your country of residence. These Terms do not require you to give up statutory consumer rights or access to courts available under applicable law.
We may update these Terms as HBot changes. The current version and its date will appear here. Material changes will be communicated through the bot or official community channels; renewed acceptance will be requested where required. Simply updating a page does not waive rights or consent requirements imposed by law.
